Visa and Passport


Tourist visas for Taiwan can be obtained from Taiwan embassies, consulates, or designated representative offices in foreign countries. Citizens of the following countries (please refer to Visa-Exempt Entry) are eligible for visa-free entry to Taiwan at any of its major international airports and harbors.

*Please be noted the Bureau of Consular Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Taiwan currently does not accept individual application for Mainland Chinese visiting Taiwan for the purpose of attending international conference.
In the registration page, there will be a question “Do you want APEMC 2025 to apply a visa for Chinese entry for you?”, if you want the conference to apply visa for you between May 19-23, 2025, please check "Yes" for the above question, and make sure to complete the registration and payment by Mar. 10, 2025.
Afterwards, the APMEC 2025 Conference Secretariat will directly inform you to send required documents for visa application for Chinese attendees by mail.
